More than 30 years ago, Gloria Brennan became Maryland’s first Licensed Aesthetician, spawning the growth of the spa industry in the state. Maryland is among the first states in the nation to recognize the aesthetics trend. Gloria worked with Maryland agencies to develop the credentials, procedures and qualifying examinations employed by the state to certify hundreds of others in this field.
Gloria’s background includes that of working as a model in New York City as well as an instructor in her field. She established a modeling school and agency and worked with national companies such as London Fog and Head Skiwear. Additionally, she participated as a judge for Maryland beauty pagents to include Miss Maryland and Miss Hispanic.
